Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds
Or bends with the remover to remove
Oh no! It's an ever-fixed mark

Whose worth's unkwown, although his height be taken
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks
But bears it out even to the edge of doom
If this be error and upon me proved
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
Er hatte es definitiv drauf. In Englisch behandeln wir grade seine Sonnette. Und als Hausaufgabe sollten wir das obenstehende in modernes Englisch übertragen, ohne, dass die Ursprungsidee verloren geht. Allerdings bin ich kein Shakespeare xD Trotzdem poste ich ganz dreist mein Sonnett hier rein ;)

Nor does it obey rules, neither does it move
It's everlasting, like a mark
Although there might be struggles and storms
It's the song of freedom by a lark
Can't be forced into shape, nor forms
Love appeals to beauty, but it's not true
Until one suceeds to see what is behind the mask
For a long time one might not have a clue
But to keep and safe it 'til the end of time is the task
If this is false and proved wrong
In this world love never has been strong.
Ich persönlich finds ein wenig holperig... Liegt aber vor allem daran, dass mir keine passenden Reimworte einfallen wollten *seufz*
