Members of alice nine. and PS Company management have made it public through member blogs and site updates that Tora has become seriously injured. Since injuring his neck on tour last summer, Tora has developed a cervical spinal hernia (a herniated disc in his spinal cord, in the neck region), and has experienced pain and numbness so great they had to pause on their tour, postpone shows in Aomori and Sapporo, and get him back to Tokyo to be examined at a hospital. Tora's condition has rendered him, for the time being, inable to play his guitar. We at Jrock Revolution are very saddened by this news. Our hearts go out to Tora, as well as Hiroto, Shou, Saga, and Nao, and the staff always with them. We hope for the best during this frightening time, and know that he'll get the best care. We wish for a full recovery, and to see him able to return to performing----but only when it is safe for him to do so. We will be accepting messages from our Jrock Revolution community to send to Tora and the members of alice nine. to wish him well and wish them all strength during this difficult time. We hope to receive many messages from all of you. We will put everything together and send it at once to show Tora and alice nine. the support of the Jrock Revolution community and all their overseas fans. However, please send us a message as well so we can demonstrate to alice nine. how much love there is here at JRR for this band, who graced our first festival with a wonderful performance. We're not going to put a deadline on messages just yet, but please, as soon as you can. Since this is a developing situation, we don't know quite what to expect. We would like to send out a collection of messages within the next few days. We are hoping, of course, to see updates from the band soon letting worried fans everywhere know that Tora will be okay.
