Wow, quite the looker! The pics makeup is well chosen, as well as the set of colours used. Coincidently the character reminds me of Robin from Final Emblem: Awakening *lol*
I like the way how his clothings are drawn, especially the golden rims of his sleeves. The flying magic cards add to the whole magician character, and are well drawn in their respectice perspectives and sizes. The glowing magic-lightning(?) of the cards adds well to project the magicians nature.
I am not sure what to make of the eagle(?) at the top-left though. Could be a companion of sorts like a summon, though for that I would expect it to be surounded by the same magic-glow of sorts.
While it surely was placed there deliberatly and with special intend, I can't help the feel of disharmony, like its kind of interrupting/disrupting. It just feels out of place, sorry (^^").

Yeah, your right with the Bird (should be an elster). The character is from the dungeons&dragons universe and he has a familar that follows and help him. So i wanted him in the picture but maybe an other place would have suit better.
