Dreams OF LOVE


It's freezing cold inside my heart
on the outside hell is burning
I'm all alone
there is no one 
neither in the frozen desert
nor in the melting heat
searching for other life
want to see a single light
the light of hope
in these embracing shadows
try to find an asylum for my soul 
in this darkness called life

soil vanishes under my feet
like memories get drunk in the sea of blood
I'm falling through darkness without any sound
without melody my heart gets lost
try to take a breath to make my last scream

try to drop an anchor with my last marvellous thought

the anchor tear up the darkness
no the marvellous thought riped the darkness
the fall has stopped, I'm floating
the light dazzles my eyes
slowly I can see
looking through this tiny crack
there is another world
a world of life, of hope
am I searching for this
try to open this crack a little more
doing my first step into a new life
is this what I'm looking for
has my journey end
is this the asylum for my soul
NO something is missing
but this world is full of life

a big city full of people
grey people, cold inside
is this another illusion
or real life
cold, grey, without dreams
tears are falling down
my tears, running over my face
I fall on my knees
is there no one to touch deep inside
is there nobody who care
my tears become a river of blood
my heart bleeds again

this world is freezing cold
and melting hot, too
again there are embracing shadows
the people don't notice me 
is it a new hell born from my soul

NO I can hear a single melody
the melody of another heart
that gets closer
I'm standing up for the last time
all my strengh is lost...

slowly, step by step, 
I'm going to reach this heart
but I'm not strong enough
the shadows of the past bring me to case

I feel the smile of someone
I'm looking up
you are there
ceep on crying
but my bloody tears become
tears of hope
washing away the scars of doubt
in your eyes I see I know
'you love me'

These new world
starts wearing fresh colours
everything turns into beauty
every sound becomes a heartfelt melody
darkness turns into warming light
because I know there is a person

like the warming sun when it's freezing cold
and rain in the melting desert
