Strangeness of LIFE

One day you wake up and you  realize,
This is not what you wanted to do with your life.
You change everything, 
Quit your job, leave everything behind,

Do you feel confused?

You seize help, sure you do,
But they can’t tell you what YOU want.
Of course they try to tell you what to do,
Trying to make you live their dreams,
The dreams they are to scared to live themselves.

Are you scared?

You start to doubt your decision,
You leave your friends, ashamed.
Looking for sense in all this,
Trying to get around somewhere else.

Do you have doubts?

You start again, from the beginning,
New job, new place, new friends.
Slowly getting back into old habits.
Feeling like a stranger, knowing there is more
Still that feeling of restlessness in your mind.

Is this LIFE?



                                Kapitel 2: You
                                --------------


You say you hate me,
You say you detest me,
You say I am all that is in your life.

You tell me I annoy you,
You tell me I drive you insane,
You tell me I am the one that keeps you alive.

You mean I don’t hear you,
You mean I don’t trust you,
You mean I am to give you a reason.

But all is about you,
And all you are really saying is,
I LOVE YOU
