    Swift is the harling of Cobweb and Terzian and the future heir of "Forever". Having grown up mostly isolated from other young hara, he developped a very naive but good-hearted view upon the world. His beliefs are a combination of the more practical thinking of his father and the mystical witch-like convictions that his hostling Cobweb celebrates.
    Towards Cal he also possesses a friendly attitude free of prejudices that could be provoked by the past.

    Cobweb is a mystical feminine creature who has his roots in the tribe of the Sulh. Together with his beloved Terzian he rules "Forever".
    As Cal enters their lives and Terzian falls undyingly in love with him, Cobweb boils with jealousy, longing for revenge towards the intruder.

    Calanthe - also Cal - has once been a visitor to "Forever" with his chesnari - his lover - Pellaz when Swift was still a child. When his chesnari is killed, he returns there, starting a relationsship with Terzian though the lord of Forever's love is much bigger than Cal's affection towards him.
